Terms of Service

Agreement

By using ProofBase you agree to these Terms of Service. ProofBase is operated by Corekit Services. If you list a tool, additional listing guidelines apply. Last updated: May 2026.

The service

ProofBase provides a directory where software tools are discovered through verified outcomes and reviewer trust scores. Features may change; we aim to give reasonable notice for material changes.

Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials. Founders represent they have authority to list the product and share submitted proof.

Listings and proof

Your responsibilities

  • Metrics must be accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Evidence type labels (integration, screenshot, customer, self-reported) must match the proof trail
  • Do not impersonate other products or submit misleading before and after figures

Our rights

  • We may reject, edit requests for, or remove listings that violate guidelines
  • Trust scores reflect reviewer judgment, not a guarantee of results for every buyer

Buyer use

Directory content is informational. ProofBase does not warrant that any tool will achieve the same outcomes for your organization. Perform your own diligence.

Payments

Paid listing plans (Browse Boost, Premium, Premium Plus) are billed through Paddle as Merchant of Record. Placement duration and features are shown at checkout and on the pricing page.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Free tier listings remain subject to review.

Intellectual property

You retain rights to your listing content. You grant Corekit Services and ProofBase a license to display, index, and promote listings on the platform and in marketing with attribution.

ProofBase branding, UI, and reviewer systems are our property.

Prohibited conduct

  • Scraping at rates that harm service stability
  • Fraudulent proof or astroturfed reviews
  • Harassment of reviewers or other users
  • Circumventing trust or verification systems

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of liability

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars.

Indemnity

You will indemnify Corekit Services and ProofBase against claims arising from your listings, proof, or breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
