Refund Policy

Overview

ProofBase is operated by Corekit Services. Paid listing plans (Browse Boost, Premium, Premium Plus) are sold through Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as Merchant of Record. Last updated: May 2026.

This policy explains refund eligibility, how to request a refund, and how cancellations work for paid placements.

Paddle as Merchant of Record

When you purchase a paid plan, your transaction is with Paddle, not directly with Corekit Services. Paddle is the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for ProofBase orders.

Your receipt, invoice, and card statement may reference Paddle. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.

Refund eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Your request is made within 7 days of the charge date
  • You were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge or wrong plan)
  • A technical issue on our side prevented your listing or paid placement from activating and we could not resolve it promptly
  • You contact us before requesting a refund so we can attempt to fix the issue

Each request is reviewed case by case. Refunds are not automatically guaranteed after active use of paid placement features.

After the 7-day window, refunds are generally not available except for billing errors or extraordinary circumstances at our sole discretion.

Non-refundable situations

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Requests made after the 7-day window without extenuating circumstances
  • Plans where paid placement has already run for most or all of the purchased period
  • Change of mind after your listing was approved and featured placement was delivered
  • Violations of our Terms that led to listing removal

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your country or region.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@proofbase.network with the subject line Refund Request
  2. Include your registered email, listing name, plan purchased, charge date, and a brief reason
  3. We respond within 2 business days. If approved, we instruct Paddle to process the refund

You may also contact Paddle for billing inquiries at paddle.net.

Cancellation

Paid plans are time-limited placements (e.g. 7 or 30 days), not open-ended subscriptions unless stated otherwise at checkout.

If you need to stop a recurring charge (where applicable), contact support@proofbase.network or use the receipt link from Paddle to manage billing.

Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period. Use the refund request process above if you believe you are eligible.
